About Us
Lotte Zuijdwijk & David Verhagen
LotteZ is a creative studio specialized in transforming physical spaces into interactive narratives.
Lotte founded the company in 2006. Her early work focused on original artwork, show visuals, VJ performances, and animation. These foundational years established a deep understanding of visual storytelling, music visualization and live production.
Since then, her work has evolved from designing visuals for international music shows to curating large-scale light art and social installations, focussing on art that requires an audience not just to watch, but to participate.
In 2022, David Verhagen joined the company.
He brought in his expertise in IT, creative programming, business development, and customer support.
Together, we operate as a dedicated team of two that scales to a full production force when a project requires it. This lean model allows us to maintain direct creative control and low overhead while delivering complex, high-impact experiences.
Our studio is located at the historic Fort Honswijk. This physical grounding in heritage influences our approach to digital art; we use technology to enhance the story and atmosphere of a location, rather than replace it.
Outside of the studio, our lifestyle is defined by a consistent interest in techno, art, travelling, surfing, and family life.
