We designed a projection mapping for the official opening of Nachtfort at our studio location, Fort Honswijk.
The project transformed the historic facade into a narrative canvas to celebrate the site’s transition into a vibrant cultural hub.

In January 2023, we designed and executed a large-scale projection mapping to mark the official opening of Nachtfort.
This project took place at Fort Honswijk, the historic site where our studio is permanently based.
The objective was to transform the stone facade of the fort into a narrative canvas that respected the heritage of the building while introducing its new purpose as a cultural hub.
We managed the full creative process, from initial concept art to the final motion designs.
This project served as a critical test case for our internal hardware standards. The projection equipment for the opening was kindly sponsored through a partnership with ImpressAV.
Following the technical success of this event, we invested in the same hardware for our permanent inventory.
By using high-output laser projection, we ensured the visuals remained sharp against the complex textures of the fort’s masonry. This setup now allows us to deploy reliable, high-resolution mapping solutions for both indoor and outdoor sites.
